    Built on my Tufts University graduation thesis and a year of study as a Fulbright scholar in Kyoto, "Power-Up" was the first book written in English on the subject of Japanese video games when originally released in 2004. The revised 2016 edition includes new and updated material, including a chapter on the life of Satoru Iwata.
