How can you engage with end-users and stakeholders during research?
This is where technology can help you to monitor market changes that influences your research - e.g. for corporate ESG strategy, keeping an eye on regulatory changes, reporting practices, media attention helps a company to proactively address emerging risks and opportunities. You can then use these insights to educate and engage key stakeholders, and showcase that you have sufficient oversight.

How can you engage with end-users and stakeholders during research?
In-person discussions - in the form of working groups, Board committee meetings, or workshops - can be useful when you have data to guide the discussions. Fortune 500 companies are increasingly using technology to identify and prioritize the key ESG issues that matter most, and access meaningful insights that can help to educate internal and external stakeholders about how they will address those issues - from both a risk and opportunity perspective. Oftentimes, these corporate leaders will complement the data insights with survey responses from a focused group of stakeholders to better understand their position on the issues and be more thoughtful about where the biggest education gaps/opportunities lie.

How can you engage with end-users and stakeholders during research?
From a corporate ESG/sustainability perspective, stakeholder engagement remains an important component of good governance. As ESG strategy matures, corporate leaders recognize more and more that the best way to engage stakeholders (executives, the board, investors, employees, local communities, partners, suppliers) is to lead the conversation with insights from primary data sources (e.g. regulations, corporate reports, media sources). This way, they can have better informed discussions about the issues that matter most - e.g. they first identify that human rights is an important issue due to changing regulatory requirements, best practices, competitive differentiation. They can use those insights to have a more productive dialogue/
