“I had the pleasure of working with Scott Klein at Big Fish Games, and I'm delighted to recommend him. To create hit games, you need a great team across a number of disciplines, and Scott's exceptional work in beta research, play testing, and player insights significantly contributed to our studio's success. I appreciate Scott's experience, dedication, and excellent communication and I believe he would be an invaluable asset to any organization looking for someone to handle any and all aspects of user research.”

How can you design games for all types of players without leaving anyone out?
Perhaps the question is being misinterpreted as most folks seem to take it as how to build a single game for everyone, but I interpreted the question as how to build games without leaving anyone out. So as a few folks said, understanding audience needs is priority 1. Then build a game that fulfills those needs. Each game will fulfill a particular audiences needs, yes, but we as an industry we should be building a variety of games that will allow everyone to have a game to play. That’s inclusive game design IMO. To understand your audience at a truly unique level (beyond demographics and simple behavioral models) check out Solsten.io where we understand players at a psychological level. Not just what players have done, but what they will do.
