GroupM Nexus put forth a learning opportunity which grouped individuals from across the network to collaborate and solve a specific client challenge presented. Over the course of 48 hours, teams collaborated to present a solution which was unique, scalable and relevant. Thanks to a collaborative and tech savvy team, our team (Team 2) was able to bring home the grand prize as the Hackathon Winner by presenting a solution which was thorough and realistic. Over the course of 48 hours, teams collaborated to present a solution which was unique, scalable and relevant. Thanks to a collaborative and tech savvy team, our team (Team 2) was able to bring home the grand prize as the Hackathon Winner by presenting a solution which was thorough and realistic. Our idea utilized new technology in the marketplace alongside Nexus capabilities with a creative twist that set the brand and human (consumer) on the same path. It built on insights and data about the complexity of people and how brands can appropriately align with that instead of a segmented consumer view. It was a beautiful experience which we were able to give our feedback on and hope to be a part of in one capacity or another in the future.

Wavemaker put a stake in the ground that in 2019 we would win more awards at the Microsoft Annual Award Ceremony. After hard work, dedication and collaboration, a handful of us submitted our application. We became finalists and eventually walked away with an amazing honor. It was a true showcase of the strength of our Search Department and strong relationship with Microsoft.

1st Place in the Yahoo Ad Challenge

At the 2014 Yahoo! Ad Challenge a 3 person MEC team including myself competed for 5 awards winning 2 of them. One award was called Mobile First for creative integration of Mobile/Tablet devices into our new ad format. The second award was The People`s Choice which we received due to the strong support of the MEC Search Team at the event.

Some of the responsibilities included a speech on Veterans Day for our local veterans as well as leading a donation drive for St. Jude Children`s Research Hospital. This was a great leadership opportunity and learning experience but most importantly it provided an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students of DHS and members of the Dumont community.

As captain it was my goal to get everyone on the team to practice and refine their skills in preparation for monthly competitions. The Dumont team placed in the top 3 consecutively each year that I was captain but we were unable to win the national championship. On an individual level I earned many trophies including 2nd place in improvisational pairs my senior year. It was an amazing…

-The Teen Institute of the Garden State (TIGS) is now known as the Lindsey Meyer Teen Institute (LMTI). Throughout my time at Dumont High School I was a member of TIGS and eventually becoming a counselor. Our goal was to teach the high school student of New Jersey to keep a positive attitude throughout life and how to deal with life stresses in a productive manner without turning to drugs or alcohol.
