The Swiss EdTech Collider, a not-for profit association founded in 2017 located in the dynamic and vibrant EPFL Innovation Park and in close proximity to LEARN - EPFL’s Center for Learning Sciences in Lausanne, is Switzerland’s first collaborative and membership space dedicated to ambitious entrepreneurs transforming education and learning through technology.

To fulfil our university’s task of providing an integrated education, we deliberately set goals that go well beyond the pure transfer of knowledge. To this end, courses that reach above and beyond the core programmes are introduced in phases. The mentoring programme, which is available to all students at the Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D. levels, is an important part of this concept.

YES is a non-profit organisation which develops and supports practice-oriented business training programmes for students, with the aim of interlinking the economy with schools. The association was founded in 2006 as a result of the merger of the previously independent organisations Junior Achievement Switzerland and Young Enterprise Switzerland. YES is a non-profit organisation which develops and supports practice-oriented business training programmes for students, with the aim of interlinking the economy with schools. The association was founded in 2006 as a result of the merger of the previously independent organisations Junior Achievement Switzerland and Young Enterprise Switzerland. In January 2018 the organisation Youth and Economy merged with YES. The Company Programme was first run in Switzerland back in 1999 and the first volunteer placements took place in 2003.

The focus lies on young people, who are enabled to develop an understanding for social and economic relationships, to be entrepreneurial, and to become persuasive as individuals. XMotion, specifically Dr. Ferran Galan, is working on a revolutionary technology that allows people with severe spinal cord injuries and consequent cervical disabilities, as well as patients with advanced ALS disease, to control peripherals using only their facial expressions and eyes.
