I have been involved in volunteering my time to young adults, ages 14-18, providing classroom and on the job leadership training under Monarch's Leaders of Tomorrow program. I was involved in developing and implementing the program. I also help teach others how to provide this training. Through a focus on helping these young adults establish a resume of leadership experience that sets them apart from their peers, I am pleased to say we have grown this group of students to 29 strong since the…

Spectrum Brands HHI End to End Inventory Control

Monarch Inventory Services entered into a multi month contract with Spectrum Brands Hardware and Home Improvement Division (HHI). To help remove the burden of outbound inventory control, we implemented the Monarch CTQ app, which allows us to capture quality control metrics for each pallet and picker while we verify the accuracy of the pallet. The information from Monarch CTQ provides shift supervisors with information they can use to train the pickers for the purposes of continual process…
Monarch Inventory Services entered into a multi month contract with Spectrum Brands Hardware and Home Improvement Division (HHI). To help remove the burden of outbound inventory control, we implemented the Monarch CTQ app, which allows us to capture quality control metrics for each pallet and picker while we verify the accuracy of the pallet. The information from Monarch CTQ provides shift supervisors with information they can use to train the pickers for the purposes of continual process improvement. Monarch not only audits the outbound pallets and processes, but also systematically fixes any inventory errors in Red Prairie to clear the shipment before a truck is loaded. All shipments to the Big Box stores and smaller LTL shipments are audited by Monarch. Additionally, Monarch supports Spectrum's cycle counting and auditing program, helps resolve errors on the errored location report, and evaluates advanced shipping notices to help resolve problems on both the receiving docs and shipments en route. Monarch is entrusted with write level permissions in Red Prairie to help resolve inventory discrepancies on the docks and within the racks.
