When was the last time you woke up and said 'I think I'll be a B2B consumer today?' I'm guessing, never. Love this piece by Agnostic's own Lena Knight talking about how we believe in a 'Business 2 Person' approach. Spoiler: it works! Agnostic #B2BMarketing #Communications #InternalCommunications

Arts and culture fuels Florida's economy. We've seen the arts' transformational power on multiple industries in South Florida. Think of Wynwood Walls, the Arsht Center, and the Design District; there is no investment in real estate, tourism, hospitality, and so on without the arts. #CrisisCommunications #NonProfitCommunications #PublicRelations #NonProfitPublicRelations

A familiar name in The Philadelphia Inquirer piece on the recent TikTok ban debate 👀 I'm honored to be included alongside Amy Jennette with GoDaddy. My advice: - Plan Ahead: Begin testing new strategies to fully launch in 2025. - Consider Alternative Platforms: Curate content for Reels or Youtube Shorts. - Explore Collaborations: As an influencer, diversify your portfolio. Consider adding multiple channels to your contracts and explore other partnerships. I'd like to hear from you! Do you think a TikTok ban is likely? What advice would you give to small businesses? Comment below.

As another polarizing election cycle ramps up, brands find themselves navigating treacherous advertising waters. With the threat of negative contexts, overpowering ad spend, and divisive messaging spilling into brand perceptions, maintaining impactful marketing feels like a minefield. The key concerns... #ElectionYearAdvertising #BrandImpact #ConsumerPerception #Ipsos

I appreciate how Alice Maggiore emphasized that PR, advertising, and marketing* are all different fields although there is overlap (and that’s usually because of a lack of resources). As the region grows, our communicators need the resources, either in-house or through agency support to manage internal growth effectively! * Not to mention design, video production, social media management, web development, event planning, etc that all falls into the “communications” bucket!

As a content creator, I was intrigued by an article I recently stumbled upon in the June issue of Philadelphia Magazine titled "How Philly Learned to Love AI" written by Malcolm Burnley. The article discusses the various ways AI is being used and provides insightful examples, such as The Philadelphia Orchestra's implementation, which for me was a lovely surprise. While I'm no expert on the subject, I found this article to be a great read for anyone interested in AI technology. #AI #technology #PhiladelphiaMagazine

🌟 Let's talk about small business resilience and the digital shift in NJ! The NJEDA just launched a $1M program to support small businesses with e-commerce and digital marketing services. Here are some key points to ponder: 🔹 With consumers shifting online, Main Street businesses are getting a boost to modernize and stay competitive. 🔹 Eligible businesses can access up to $11,400 in services for web development, e-commerce, and digital marketing plans. 🔹 Focus on empowering women, minority, and veteran-owned businesses to thrive and succeed. 💡 Investing in small businesses is like planting seeds of economic empowerment that benefit entire communities. What are your thoughts on initiatives like this? https://lnkd.in/eV8kXDVK

And so it begins. The earliest presidential debate airs today, ushering in election anxiety that will significantly impact consumer behavior as we enter the back-to-school season and begin holiday planning. Election anxiety will shape how we engage with consumers and affect the next several months of consumer shopping. Yes, election years are a net positive for shopping, but you also have to consider: ✅ How you Communicate: Consumers want brands to relieve their anxiety - lead with fun. ✅ What People Are Buying and When: Self-gifting & what purchases are being delayed. ✅ Marketing Dead Zones: When and how you should pull back investment. People will be more anxious than usual, so it's crucial to tailor your marketing strategies to effectively reach a distracted audience. This is just one of the topics I discuss with the extremely brilliant Libby Rodney at The Harris Poll on this month's Strategy Shift. As always, thank you to Direct Agents for helping us create these amazing conversations. #ElectionAnxiety #MarketingStrategy #ElectionYear

We design and build a LOT of websites shyft digital. It's what we do - and we love it. Sites we designed a few years ago are looking at a refresh now - why?? Because your website should never be a "set it and forget it" situation. Some benefits of a site refresh are below: 👏 Staying Relevant: Web design trends evolve rapidly. Refreshing your website's design ensures that it stays current with contemporary aesthetics and user expectations. An outdated design can make your site seem obsolete or untrustworthy. 👏 Improving the User Experience (UX): User experience is crucial for retaining visitors and encouraging them to engage with your content or services. A refreshed design can enhance navigation, readability, and overall usability, leading to higher user satisfaction and longer browsing sessions. 👏 Optimizing Performance: Technology advances quickly, and newer design techniques often improve website performance. By updating your design, you can leverage modern coding practices and technologies to make your site faster, more responsive, and compatible with a wider range of devices and browsers. 👏 Enhancing Your Brand Perception: A well-designed website reflects positively on your brand. Updating the design can help reinforce your brand identity, convey professionalism, and build trust with visitors. Consistent branding across all touchpoints can strengthen brand recognition and loyalty. 👏 Adaptating to Your Evolving Business: Over time, your business goals, target audience, and content priorities may evolve. Refreshing your website's design provides an opportunity to align the visual elements with your current objectives and audience preferences, ensuring that your site effectively meets their needs. 👏 SEO Benefits: Search engine algorithms consider factors like user experience and mobile-friendliness when ranking websites. A refreshed design that improves these aspects can positively impact your SEO performance, leading to higher search rankings and increased organic traffic. To this end, we just re-launched the website for Focused Solutions at https://lnkd.in/e4Q-iFAz and we LOVE it. The business offerings at Focused Solutions have evolved - they are now focused on 11 new Industries in which they are offering workplace therapy support, after having won some big new contracts in those spaces. This redesign allowed us to look at the entire site and bring consistency to the content, layout, design and user experience. It also shows their target audience they they are relevant, innovative and keeping up with the changing needs of their users. #shyftjustgotreal #shyfthappens #websitedesign

Terrestrial radio is still top dog when it comes to reach. Nielsen recently reported that radio reaches 91% of U.S. adults 18+ each month. While there is certainly growing competition for share of listening - streaming audio, podcasts, etc. - radio stands strong. What should you consider when it comes to radio? Check out this article from The Ward Group to find out more. #terrestrialradio #radio #broadcastradio #audioadvertising #mediaplanning #mediabuying #mediastewards #advertising
