“Katherine was a mentor to me during my time at Apple. She encouraged and empowered me to obtain an MBA. Together, we put a strategy in place on how to balance a rigorous travel schedule and taking on a huge endeavor with grad school. Katherine is not only a great colleague , but a genuine leader who sees the value and potential in others. She is a dynamic individual with a passion for helping customers, her teammates and other women in the tech community. We worked together on a project, she was so inspiring to work with, I was definitely pushed out of my comfort zone. Apple hires the best and the brightest; it was truly amazing to be on that journey with her in the early days of the iPhone. Katherine is an extraordinary woman who will continue to do amazing things. Many thanks for stepping up and pushing me.”

What are the key skills for Partnership leaders in the next 5 years?
When you clearly outline goals and objectives for success, then you will have a strong foundation to leverage during performance reviews / QBRs. You remove the emotion, leverage the data, and assess all aspects of the engagement re revenue, enablement, marketing, incentives, etc. This then strengthens the relationship for the coming quarter / half and aligns focus based on successes and pivot opportunities.

What are the key skills for Partnership leaders in the next 5 years?
Understanding the partners business objectives (goals, stakeholders, product, revenue, etc.) and operations (compensation drivers, marketing, etc.) and expectations (i.e; "they will bring me loads of leads", or "I want their product for free", or "we can co-develop a solution", etc) will allow you to build a relationship on trust and develop a strategy and plan to reduce friction.
