In a session today I heard: “95% of the PUBLIC DATA is in an AI model; while less than 1% of the PRIVATE ENTERPRISE DATA is in AI models”. On the one hand, we fundamentally disagree with this concept of ‘public data’, as it disregards data ownership in its essence. On the other hand, it’s true that there’s a lot of value in enterprise data that should be generating new revenues lines, with AI being one of the potential use cases - Data Cap is the New Market Cap™. Indeed Chip, I am seeing some interesting patterns for example, 1. GSIs are more trusted for GenAI projects for security and trust, hence their partnerships are lending that credibility to ISVs and Hyperscalers. 2. At the same time, I am seeing a gap between the pace of co-innovation (is 100x faster, dynamic than previous shifts) vs. the pace of co-selling between the parties (needs to catch up, the first AI Co-Sell Partner Programs are emerging)
