“During my special assignment as Senior Advisor to Executive Management at HHS OIG a number of challenging, complex and new program objectives were put forth requiring diverse, seasoned expertise among senior management and staff. John provided valuable insight, guidance and practical output to not only the application perspective but most importantly to the infusion of change and configuration management for the OIG data warehouse program and Consolidated Data Analysis Center. John is positive, inquisitive and very supportive of new direction, new perspectives and how to achieve organizational change under constrictive program or project conditions. I valued his insight, candor and engaging personality not only as a motivational factor for his peers but in up briefing management in the challenges, benefits and risks of specific objectives. His personal motivation in researching information and methods as well as helping me educate and support the diverse teams was extremely valuable. I am confident that any project, program or new venture John is associated with has a high probability of success. John is also well liked by his peers and management as he is not confined by status quo but seeks out better ways of doing business and maximizing technology in support of program objectives. It was a pleasure having him on the team and I look forward to another opportunity of working with him in the future.”

Significant Incident Report (SIR) Tracker

In 10 days, DSD built a system to track and respond to SIRs arising after an Unaccompanied Alien Child (UAC) leaves DHS custody and is transferred to an HHS facility. OIG investigators can rapidly launch investigations into these facilities, ensuring that children are protected.
