E4 Emerging Leaders is a broad-based energy industry initiative to train young leaders and build their energy knowledge, camaraderie and network — and in the process, strengthen the energy industry in the Carolinas. The Leadership Energy Carolinas program is an intensive nuclear-based leadership effort. We have filled the rosters for our 2014 clasess and will begin taking 2015 nominations in mid- 2014. THE PROGRAM: These efforts are personal and professional development programs for young leaders in the energy industry. Energy-oriented organizations can enroll their high potential employees in the year-long program consisting of up to six sessions. Each session is developed to expose participants to a wide range of topics and skills important to the energy industry in the Carolinas, including legislative issues, industry trends, energy technologies, industry cluster theory, communications, media, and research. Class members not only foster connections with other young leaders in the industry, but also have the opportunity to enhance their leadership development while meeting industry executives, policymakers and others critical to the success of the Carolinas’ energy industry.
