How can you effectively recognize and reward collaborative behavior?
It feels strange to me to reward group efforts with individual rewards, yet that is what frequently happens. This individual reward may be great and appreciated; however, if the collaboration was "uneven" or if one of the group member's individual contributions were not heard, acknowledged, or respected but then the group was rewarded anyway based on the final outcome, the "reward" could backfire. The slighted employee will learn to keep quiet while the dominant voices in the group will continue to dominate (Afterall, they must have done something right). As such, offering individual rewards and incentives for collaboration, I don't think is always best. What I do feel is appropriate after a long project with long hours, is time off.

Why I Still Play Pokémon Go: A personal essay about fear, politics, and augmented reality
GooRoo
Last summer, when Pokémon Go debuted, the world around me appeared to go crazy, at least according to local media. Reports of people wandering into traffic, car crashes, armed robbery, even people falling off cliffs in attempts to capture tiny cartoon “pocket monsters” appearing in the physical space around us, abounded (though I never witnessed these events personally).

What I did see was my suburban town of Schaumburg, IL transform from a place I liked living to a place I simply loved. I couldn’t wait to go outside, to the PokéStop-rich town square, not just to catch Pokémon, but to see, walk, and interact with neighbors I’d never met—who seemed to have been in hiding since I was a little girl. -

TrainSignal
When Office 365 first arrived, people often confused this offering with the popular Microsoft productivity suite "Microsoft Office."
