“Liz was my first manager when I transitioned from trading to Diversity Recruiting. It was September and the campus recruiting cycle had already commenced. Recruitment at the time was not my strength, however Liz made the transition a breeze for me. I learned a great deal on the fly, and we collectively celebrated many diverse recruitment "wins." I cannot imagine entering HR in 2004 and working for anyone else. Liz possesses all the qualities you would like to see in a leader, and emulate as well.”

Ongoza was founded in 2008 in the wake of Kenya’s post-election violence. During the violence, a time when young people predominantly participated in killing, looting and destroying property. Angola piloted this belief by narrowing youth focus into secondary schools and colleges, initiating peace clubs towards restoring peace in Kenya. Today, Ongoza has developed over 30 youth incoming generating enterprises and youth groups with a network of over 10,000 young people, while the model and partnership on engaging root causes of African conflicts and underdevelopment has expanded to Uganda and Mozambique.
