    Board President 2014-16. BGCI serves over 7,400 kids ages 5-18 in 11 clubs in some of the toughest neighborhoods in Indianapolis. We operate our clubs in 4 stand alone clubs and 7 school sites. In January 2014 we launched a Capital Campaign for $6.6M to renovate existing clubs and build a new club on Indianapolis' east side. The campaign was successful; we raised over $6.9M & secured a naming rights gift of $1.25M from The Finish Line. The new Finish Line Boys & Girls Club will open in 2016…

The new Finish Line Boys & Girls Club will open in 2016 at 38th & Post Road in a high poverty/high crime area of Indianapolis with a large number of 5-18 kids with no youth serving facilities.
    Boys & Girls Clubs of Indianapolis believes every young person deserves to live a life filled with hope and opportunity. Because we care about our young people, we provide a safe, educational and positive atmosphere where they can prosper and reach their full potential. BGCI focuses on a few key areas when serving kids- these area are:

    In addition to these areas of focus, BGCI serves over 75,000 meals a year through its relationship with Second Helpings. In addition, BGCI has the largest college scholarship fund of any club in the nation. Finally, our new club will only be the second club in the country which will have both a medical and a mental health professional on site (through a terrific partnership with Community Hospital) to specifically serve our club kids.
