“Dennis is a multi-talented and highly proficient creative. Though we were hired around the same time, Dennis became a valuable mentor and friend who I could rely on, and his impeccable practice in communication, collaboration, and strategy is evident from the multiple teams and domains he supported. Our internal team and wider Sony group recognized his raw skills and refined applications, so myself and countless other designers, managers, and partners would often seek him out first to answer a question or solve a problem. He is a rare gem in this industry whose energy and reliability is matched to none.”

College Hobby Project | Early Game Development Creations
Players could tap or strike their device in certain areas of their screen to produce high quality sounds which were recorded by a real cajon and integrated into our app, PlayCajon.
PlayCajon also included reverb effects, snare drums, cymbals, tambourine, and a bass drum. It was a great way to tap and play a cajon on the go. Perfect with headphones as well. -

The whole game demo was created on an iPad (before it was even called iPadOS!).
iPads were mainly known as media consumption devices so it was fun teaching the class that the hardware and software were capable of development back in the day (2010).
- Code was written on iPad
- Art was created on iPad
- SFX also made on iPad (though my screen recorder did not pick up the audio. iPadOS didn't have a full-fledged screen…College Hobby | Early Game Development Creations
