  • Adoptable!

Adoptable! is a proof of concept of using a mobile/web app to make the Dog adoption process easier. Using a Tinder like swipe gestures, the user can flip through dogs and find the ones he like to adopt. Upon a match, the user gets invited into a online chat session with the Animal Shelter where they can ask him/her questions to prescreen the user to see if he/she is a good fit.

This application was created during the National Day of Civic Hacking 2013 in the Los Angeles region.

The application allows users to post fruits and vegetables and barter with surrounding users in the neighborhood. The website will allow anyone to search for whatever type of fruit/vegetable in their immediate region.

I worked on the iOS code along with another member of the team, Kalpesh Solanki.

  • Office Hours

Created the iOS side of an application which would allow students to easily access a teacher's virtual office hours by incorporating a ticketing system that would place students in a queue and notify them when they can interact with the teacher.

This was created over two days for the AT&T Mobile Social Good Hackathon on the weekend of the 4th of May.

  • Geometry Quizzes for Khan Academy

I worked on several Geometry quizzes for the KahnAcedemy.org, who's goal is to providing free online education through videos and online quizzing. For this project, I use HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, and LaTex to create several quizzes where students will see a set of angles drawn on the screens, then be asked to calculate an unknown angle given a set of known angles.
