    I responded to local emergencies as a firefighter and EMT. I also participated in community and youth safety training events and seminars. In July of 2013 I went on a 3 day deployment as part of a state-wide emergency to assist in the recovery of a major flooding event. Due to beginning school at Rochester Institute of Technology, I unfortunately had to end my time as a volunteer.
