After securing $500,000 for this religious institution, I successfully implemented physical security measures and installed a surveillance system that used artificial intelligence to provide them with a layer of protection. Working with security professionals in Australia and Israel, we drafted a threat assessment before executing a comprehensive security project; which included installing perimeter fencing, an access control system, reinforcing the windows and doors and installing brand-new…

I volunteered as the Augmented Reality Mentor at Designit, a global strategic design firm, teams with other ambitious brands to develop high-impact products, services, systems and spaces – that people love. I led a one-day Hackathon in January 2018 aimed at introducing designers to the AR world. I coached them on how to approach design in this new paradigm. The workshops included discussions on how this new paradigm is disruptive and how it opens up a completely new world we inexorably will be…

The workshops included discussions on how this new paradigm is disruptive and how it opens up a completely new world we inexorably will be or are moving towards. Also discussed were innovative ideas on the future of transportation and predictions pertaining to AR taking on an important role consisting of safety, informing and entertaining.

TeslAR
A passion project showcasing how Tesla could integrate Augmented Reality features into their newest models. Their cars already contain most of the needed hardware and software, and adding AR would require only minimal additions. I created a series of concept videos showing the UX/UI benefits that AR would have on Tesla—from enhancing navigation and safety, to ease of use and cognitive load reduction. Ideas like digital painting your lane will help save lives as it minimises cognitive load and…

I created a series of concept videos showing the UX/UI benefits that AR would have on Tesla—from enhancing navigation and safety, to ease of use and cognitive load reduction. Ideas like digital painting your lane will help save lives as it minimises cognitive load and reduces the need to take your eyes off the road while driving at high speeds. Highlighting hidden hazards like cars around corners or bikes suddenly appearing behind parked cars will lead to lives being saved.

Augmented Reality sounds so futuristic that people have a hard time picturing how it'll be relevant in their lives. But after seeing this over and over again, I decided to create a series of short concept videos exploring just how even the most mundane tasks, such as turning on lights or taking public transport—would be improved through Augmented Reality. Alongside these novel ideas, I'm introducing other features AR could open up like tracing invisible links and using everyday objects to…

Alongside these novel ideas, I'm introducing other features AR could open up like tracing invisible links and using everyday objects to control devices found at home. This project has been received very well; generating tens of thousands of views and hundreds of shares within days - all thanks to augmented reality!

Murata Hackathon - 2nd Place
-
Our team designed and built a Moova sticker with shock sensor and temperature recordings to put onto furniture and items before moving houses to record and track the health of our items. We met each other a week before the hackathon and despite competing against teams that all knew each other before and some that were actually established startups with a product already we came in second and won Most Creative.

We had two days to come up with an interesting tech app. We decided to focus on Augmented Reality. We came up with an interesting design for bringing the music player outside of its current 2D body and introducing it into the 3D world. We programmed and designed a player that when far from you allowed viewing of the current song and gestures in the air to control the song and scrub to another, and when the player got closer you had fine controls such as editing playlists and selecting from…

Gett Mobile Redesign
-
The client wanted a redesign of the Gett Taxi app in order to optimize the UX/UI experience. I worked closely with them to update the design and reduce the time taken to order a taxi on a smartphone. With the improved design, we went from an average of 5 clicks and 13 seconds per transaction to 3 clicks and 7 seconds. This reconceptualisation reduced complexity and user frustrations by 50%.
-
MapMe Desktop Redesign
-
My client asked me to overhaul the existing web app and redesign it to improve user experience and clarity. I created proposals and mockups of several possible design directions, and ultimately creatied hi-fidelity mockups and code designs for the developers to build with. This redesign increased unique site visitors by 34% and ease of use by 67%.
-
MapMe Mobile Redesign
-
My client wanted a complete mobile redesign of their user app. Up until this point, they had been hyper-focused on their web design and were now transitioning to mobile. I designed this app from scratch, and worked hand in hand with the developers to ensure a smooth process from pixels to code. This project went from no mobile presence to 83% of users using our mobile app.

Scavenger AR app
-
The client wanted to create a new way for tourists and people visiting Tel Aviv to explore their interest in the Startup Nation. I assisted them in conceptualizing a scavenger-hunt style app that would implement AR technology, making finding a startup as easy as walking down any street, pointing your smartphone at a building, and discovering a description and the contact information of the start-ups found there. I designed the concept app in Sketch and mocked up a prototype in After Effects.
-
Weather AR app
-
The client wanted to completely overhaul the concept of checking the weather, by incorporating AR, allowing the user to actually see the weather change around them. Conceptializing the fastest and most intuitive way of checking the weather. I designed the entire interface and experience in Unity, and coded up the first prototype.
