The Michigan Society of Association Executives is a not-for-profit membership organization that serves similar organizations in a variety of managerial and staff specialist roles. In short, they are the association for associations in Michigan. Their mission is to ensure a knowledgeable, professional and successful association community.

The Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs (MACC) strengthens arts and culture in Michigan by increasing its visibility; supporting arts education; encouraging new, creative and innovative works of art; and broadening cultural understanding.

Creative Many Michigan is a statewide nonprofit advocacy organization dedicated to cultivating the creative potential of Michigan’s arts and cultural sector and creative industries to enhance the public health and well-being of Michigan, its people and communities. Creative Many advocates for the power of the creative economy in Michigan; and provides leadership and professional development for artists, creative practitioners, and arts and cultural organizations.

Formed in 2016 by a group of residents and business owners, the Troy Community Foundation is focused on supporting citizen-driven initiatives that promote the very best in our community. http://troycommunityfoundation.org/

The Economic Development Committee makes recommendations to promote business, industry and commerce within the Oakland County, Michigan.

Michigan Economic Developers Association exists to advance economic development in Michigan by providing a range of services and programs to enhance economic development skills. By offering programs, education classes, public relations, and networking opportunities, MEDA makes it possible for economic development professionals statewide to be up to date/educated on the most successful economic development practices.

The new Citizen Advisory Committee members are a mix of people from Macomb, Oakland, Washtenaw and Wayne Counties and the City of Detroit. As law dictates, 40% of them are public transportation users, 40 percent are individuals representing businesses, labor, community and faith-based organizations and 20 percent come from organizations representing senior citizens and persons with disabilities.

The Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC) has a private sector board of directors comprised of business people, local economic developers and educators so that our policies and procedures meet the needs of the private sector. A corporation, not a bureaucracy, the MEDC can bring together supply and demand, matching up resources and services with the needs of our business customers.

To be a responsible proactive advocate of business interests in the greater Novi, Michigan area. To provide educational and networking opportunities to local business professionals and to drive business to our members by promoting the Chamber to the business and residential communities.
