    February of 2019 BSA presented “Vibranium Visions: Art and Tech Through the Black Eye”, a conference centered on the nexus between art and tech, while creating a pipeline for an underrepresented community in these fields.
    Our conference consisted of interactive workshops, discussions, panels, networking opportunities, and the addition of an Innovation Symposium, where amateurs and professionals presented their artwork and projects, contributing to our objective.

    We exposed our participants to new tech including VR/AR, video games, 3D printing, and more through the Innovation Symposium + trailblazers in their fields such as Kimberly Drew, Majora Carter, Lidia Bonilla, Kai Davis, Bree Newsome, Billy Dean Thomas, Franchesca Lamarre, The Rap Scholars, and more.

  • Da Cypher

    We are dedicated to empowering the youth by bridging the gap between art, fashion, and tech for disadvantaged communities. Our first youth initiative, Da Cypher Youth Creative Fund(DCYCF) was created as a resource for BIPOC youth who need funding to support their creative projects as a response to Covid-19, protesting racial injustices, and police brutality.

    Doggo Dash is a 2d side scroller of a dog avoiding obstacles and receiving awards.

    ⋅ Designed and constructed the graphics for “Doggo Dash”, our original mobile video game made in Unity. Employed UX design

The short film discusses the issues of sexual assault and domestic violence while showing two different sides of her experience in the world. The left is her external and the right is her internal. The poem is based off an accumulation of experiences and stories of both those told to me by friends and family members and mine. The two videos displaying side by side symbolizes the way that I and other suvivors move through the world. I…
