Virtual Machine Escape

The Raven Project is a virtual machine that does not offer the username and password login credentials of any user. Instead, the penetration tester must use the skills that they learned to break in. Metasploit, Nmap, Burp Suite, WPScan, Wfuzz, SSH, Python, and C++ were used in attempting to break into the Raven website hosted on our local machines. This was an independent project.

The Cloud Heist

The Cloud Heist project consisted of deploying a simple website on Google Cloud Platform, monitoring that web server through an ELK stack, and demonstrating how web hacking tools like Burp Suite Intruder attacks work in conjunction with a DOS attack. My responsibilities were to set up rsyslog to transfer log files from our client machine to our server machine. I also assisted in setting up our web server and ensuring that our web site was functional.
