“Annika worked as an intern for my team at MAPMG for the summer of 2022. During her time with us, Annika used a combination of open source and proprietary Python packages in combination with Tableau to develop a significant repository of analytical visualizations to help our team present and explain sophisticated Machine Learning models to technical and nontechnical audiences. Annika's code was consistently well-written and followed Software Development best practices. As she leaves to go back to school, she has successfully transitioned three projects off to permanent members of the team, leaving us with excellent documentation, operative code, and clear instructions. I have supervised numerous internships at MAPMG and in previous roles, and Annika stands out among these as a singularly independent worker. She required shockingly little supervision throughout her time with us, whilst still remaining open to suggestions and critiques. Her work and communication patterns reflected a productive maturity far in excess of her years. This was a consistent theme with Annika. As we worked together, it was startling whenever I was reminded that she was so accomplished as only a rising Junior in her undergraduate studies. I am confident that Annika will be a valuable contributor to any organizations she chooses to join in the future, either in technical or nontechnical roles. She has my heartfelt endorsement.”
