“I was lucky enough to have Aldo as part of my team (and, for a number of weeks, as the entirety of my team!) while managing social media at Fareportal - and he quickly proved himself invaluable. Aldo embraced the challenge of maintaining a number of social media brands, across several platforms. He constructed social media content calendars, posted blogs, produced reports and generally kept the lights on while I was left putting together higher level strategy for the future. Aldo demonstrated that he could be relied upon to deliver. He had a lot of work to manage, but he always accomplished it quietly and effectively through excellent time management and prioritization skills. He came in early every day, worked thoroughly and diligently and helped us not just survive, but thrive during a particularly challenging period for the social media brands. One area in which Aldo really impressed me was how effectively he learned to drive engagement on Facebook, Twitter and other social media channels. In the time I worked with him, our social properties developed from having essentially zero engagement to becoming thriving, vibrant communities on the 'net. Aldo drove commentary and sharing, and helped spearhead a powerful initiative to drive conversions through our social platforms. If Aldo has one area of weakness, it's that he simply doesn't advertise the fact that he works so hard and gets so much accomplished! He sells himself short because he's not out selling himself - he spends more time getting the job done than on self-publicity. My feeling is that Aldo has a great scope to move into social media management in the near future. Aldo clearly demonstrates an advanced familiarity with the back-end of Facebook, Wordpress, Twitter and Google + and his success driving engagement on these platforms demonstrates a solid grasp of social media strategy. Aldo really exceeded all my expectations working with him, and I'd have no hesitation in adding him to any team I manage in the future.”
