Most significantly, the paper calls for leading tech companies and governments to devote a third of their AI R&D budget to managing AI risks, and calls for significant regulatory power by governments to pause, stop, and inspect so-called "frontier AI" projects, or the projects that are highly autonomous and pose the most danger.
