The Regional Tech Hubs program is the beginning of significant U.S. investment in what much of the world refers to as #innovationclusters; jump starting collaboration between the private sector, government, academic institutions, and other key partners to drive innovation and economic growth in semiconductors and other tech sectors. I’m happy to see the U.S. Economic Development Administration coming from a place of curiosity in their #RFI seeking input to inform program development. There is great opportunity to build a program that drives innovation and economic growth for decades to come. The Washington State Department of Commerce is uniquely positioned to share our insights and lessons learned building the Innovation Cluster Accelerator over the past two years, working with global subject matter expert and mentor Christian Rangen, and serving on the board of the TCI Network, which represents 78 cluster organizations and 9,000 cluster development practitioners from 111 countries around the world. If you are in Washington state or the surrounding region and curious about the Regional Tech Hub program, please reach out! We can accomplish more together than we can apart.
From here in Finland, we are working with the state of Georgia on a "grassroots" level. Let me know if you would like to discuss "grassroots" options.
Interested to learn more about the program and see how we might connect the Washington Air & Army National Guard to this resource!
Awesome! I am looking forward to these opportunities.
Great idea
Can we do something with #Robotics , #Semiconductors #RF #ChipDesign together Stephanie Scott? Then we should definitely set something up with High Tech NL and Holland Semiconductors (that would be me then... ;-)
