Sadly, after only a short few months, I was caught up in the layoffs at Something Wicked Games. Even though it was short, I was lucky to work with such extremely talented people. For those who joined me in the layoffs, I hope everyone you talk to realizes what I did on my first day, which is how lucky they would be to work with you. If anyone is looking for the kind of graphics programmer who reads Siggraph papers for fun, is not afraid to jump into assembly, or write a custom language if needed, please reach out I would love to talk.
Sorry to hear that Andrew. Not sure if you're still in Canada but we have some fun graphics challenges with our own engine. Always thought you were an excellent programmer! https://tacticstudios.com/careers.php?jobID=64
I am sorry, but have you not shown up for a single day at work or has Something Wicked Games laid off everybody? Cause I cannot fathom why they would let go off someone this experienced. Anyhow, pretty sure you will find a new gig real soon :)
During that short period of time you've been truly inspiring and have brought up such interesting topics. I sincerely wished we had more time to work together!
