We are thrilled to announce Zero’s New Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Naomi Parrella! Dr. Parrella is a renowned physician and Chief of Lifestyle Medicine at Rush University in Chicago. When she’s not servicing her community, you can find Dr. Parella consulting for organizations like the NFL, United Airlines, and Google. One of her greatest passions is sharing her expertise with as many people as possible to help them thrive and live a longer, healthier life. At Zero, Dr. Parrella will be leveraging her extensive knowledge of fasting, metabolic health, and obesity to continue to improve and enhance the health and well-being of our Members. I am thrilled to announce that I’ll be joining the Zero Longevity Science team as their Chief Medical Officer! As a family physician and obesity-medicine specialist, I have seen firsthand all the ways unhealthy weight can aggravate health problems and interfere with people’s freedom to live their best life. I have also seen that it doesn’t have to be that way. By understanding and tapping into our body’s natural capacity to heal, regenerate, and thrive, we can often prevent, reverse, or at least improve some of these problems. Zero is an ideal tool to do this. I’ve been using Zero with my patients for quite a while. The app provides support and coaching for my patients during all those hours they are not in my office. Plus, it makes it possible for their friends and family, who can’t come to my office, to still join in on their weight-loss and health journey. I’ll be drawing upon my clinical knowledge and expertise to help millions of Zero Members lose weight sustainably and enjoy longer, healthier lives. It’s an honor to be collaborating with a science-forward, empathy-centered company in the rewarding mission of bettering the lifespan and healthspan of the human race!
