    Pay close attention to the medals draped over the necks of this year’s Olympic winners and you may just spot a hexagonal piece of wrought iron that is none other than a piece of the Eiffel Tower from after its renovation. The medals were designed by CHAUMET, a luxury jeweler part of the LVMH family, and they’re just one of the many partners bringing luxury to the global stage in this year’s games. 🏅 Here’s a list of some of our favorite powerhouse partnerships for Paris: 🇫🇷 🥇 Glossier, Inc. - The official beauty sponsor of the US Women’s Basketball National Team. The partnership reflects Glossier’s typical approach to partnerships — specifically in asking, “how do we use our partner’s platform to amplify the voices and the stories that we’re telling?”. To this Glossier CEO Kyle Leahy said, “These women wear many different hats. They embody the idea of stretch and of beauty in real life.” 🥇 Ralph Lauren - Continuing their legacy of dressing Team USA with a blend of classic Americana style. They’ve been a staple since 2008, and this year’s uniforms “draw inspiration from the dynamic and vibrant host city,” according to Ralph Lauren, “and embrace a patriotic spirit reflected in a signature palette of red, white and blue.” 🥇 Salomon - Calling all gorpcore girlies! Salomon designed two exclusive colorways of the Salomon XT-6 and ACS + OG for Nordstrom, in red white and blue of course as a modern take on both the French and American flags. 🥇 Gap - This collection has a nostalgic '90s vibe, featuring unisex sweatpant sets, T-shirts with a well-loved look, and oversized rugby shirts. The pieces are embroidered with "USA" and an American flag, offering a relaxed and comfortable fit that's perfect for our team of athleisure lovers.     “Make it go viral” - How many times a day do you hear that? Does it keep you up at night? *Virality* is a common goal for most social media Managers. Its definition is subjective, and arguably diluted with TikTok’s increasing saturation. Plainly put - cutting through all that noise feels like a full time job, Maybe, because it is! At least for us 🙂 Here’s a few of our tried and true TikTok tactics (say that five times fast) that have helped clock in millions of views for our CPG brands in recent months: ➡️ Top of Mind (& Heart): Ever heard the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach? (While this may be true of our F&B brands’ audiences 😋 ) for all brands it’s similar; Ask yourself what is top of mind for your audience? Seamlessly hijack your way into their current thoughts and feelings by creating relatable & niche content around trending topics they’re already engaging with. ➡️ Shareable + Saveable: People use TikTok for entertainment. While users want to learn or see behind the scenes - they mainly want to laugh. (And are actually turned off by ads or being sold something that doesn't interest them). Keep it simple by focusing on entertaining content they will save for themselves, or share with others. ➡️ Keep it Casual: TikTok by nature is less polished than other platforms. Users crave casual tones and human-centered content. Leave the extensive production for IG and opt for a vibe that screams: “I just whipped out my phone and hit record.” Even scripted content should feel authentic. ➡️ Product Takes a Back Seat: This may be the hardest thing to grasp--after all, the whole goal is to sell your product, right? Users are already overwhelmed with TikTok shop videos. Instead of *selling* with product-centered videos, instead maintain a marketing mindset and *attract* users with content that’s valuable, relatable and engage-able. When Halfday Iced Tea got in touch, they wanted introductions to: 👉 US-based agencies 👉 With experience launching startup social media accounts 👉 Especially in the CPG space 👉 Who could connect with a Gen-Z and early Millennial audience We put together a lineup of agencies that ticked off all of the above, but more than that, teams we knew were a great fit from a personality and chemistry perspective.     Move over coastal cowgirls, it’s a brat summer. The most innovative marketing strategy in music right now doesn’t involve AI or overly curated campaigns, but rather blurry lowercase letters and a lime green background. Charli XCX's brat marketing is a masterclass in authenticity and relatability. By embracing her rebellious grungy persona and giving a nod to her UK club roots, she created a unique brand identity that's authentic, recognizable, and invites her fans to join in organically. Here’s what we think made this controversial marketing campaign so successful: Authenticity: Charli XCX's brat marketing strategy reflects a blend of her own creative vision and collaboration with her marketing and PR team. She is known for having a strong sense of her artistic identity and actively participating in shaping her brand, and it’s clear she knows what she’s doing. Engagement: Her bratty persona isn't just for show—it's a way to engage with her audience. Whether it's through encouraging fan-made UGC or posting teasers on TikTok, she knows how to keep her fans on their toes. Her team even created a ‘Brat Generator’ tool after buzz about the album cover became apparent, providing an endless stream of organic fan-made content (memes) and therefore amplifying the campaign’s global reach. Inclusivity: Charli's brat marketing is all about celebrating individuality and diversity. She creates a space where everyone feels welcome to express themselves, fostering a global and inclusive fanbase. Memorability: By crafting a distinct and playful theme with the brat wall and intentionally minimal cover art, Charli created buzz around the album much before it dropped. Now that the album is out, you can’t go anywhere without seeing blurry minimal lettering or lime green. So what can brands take from this? Our co-founder Elle De Freitas, had the brilliant idea for this week-long break back when she started Wonderkind; she missed those carefree summer breaks from school and decided it was high time we all get to enjoy a bit of that magic again.     2024 has been the year of celebrity brand collabs and we would be lying if we said we weren’t giddy over seeing some of our favorite celebrities and brands working together to create some incredible new products. 🤭 In recent months we’ve seen social media moguls Kendall Jenner and Emma Chamberlain team up to create the 818 Spirits x Chamberlain Coffee Espresso Martini Kit (Queue Sabrina Carpenter's Espresso ☕️). Shay Mitchell and the team at BÉIS worked with Indy Blue’s LONELY GHOST to create travel accessories and sweatsuits for the perfect ‘cool-girl’ airport ensemble. 🛩 Our personal favorite you ask? We may be a little biased, but the Hailey Bieber x Cosmic Bliss collab is something straight out of our dreams. 🍓 Our photo team was recently given the privilege of creating photos to showcase the ice-cream flavor that is said to taste exactly like her viral smoothie. This project aimed for a look that could simultaneously resonate with the aesthetics of Cosmic Bliss, Hailey Bieber, and rhode. With minimal but meaningful prop styling and stylistic influences from skincare photography, we blended Hailey’s world with Cosmic Bliss’s world to create an enticing, aspirational space for Strawberry Glaze. ☁️ 🍓 What has been your favorite 2024 celebrity brand collab? 💭 #cpg #celebritybrands #cpgnews

    This is HUGE. 💥 TikTok has announced a new tool to (finally) allow users to schedule posts ahead of time, and we couldn’t be more excited to utilize this feature. The Video Scheduler feature is available for Creators and Business Accounts through the Business Suite on desktop and allows users to schedule videos anywhere from 15 minutes to up to 10 days in advance. 🤯 We have been testing the performance of videos posted utilizing the scheduling feature against posts that are pushed live in real-time & here’s some of our key takeaways: 🗓 Video performance is neither hindered nor boosted when posts are scheduled, overall scheduled posts perform relatively the same as posts done in real-time. 🗓 Posting to TikTok via desktop (the only place you can use the Video Scheduler) allows Business Accounts to access previously bookmarked sounds on that account, unlike posting directly from the mobile app. 🗓 Scheduling posts creates a sort of “set it and forget it” attitude that could potentially hurt video performance due to lack of real-time community engagement (which we have found to be an important factor in boosting video performance). 🗓 Having a consistent posting schedule allows creators and brands to continuously post at optimal times for maximum impact with their audience, potentially boosting views with little added effort. We are excited to continue to test this feature and all of its advancements (fingers crossed this feature will be accessible in-app in the coming months🤞).
