⚓ Bravo Zulu to Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class (SW/AW) Renato Paredes! HM2 Renato Paredes is a native of San Diego, CA. He joined the #USNavy in 2014 and has been a Hospital Corpsman for 9 years! As the staff Medical Administration Officer, HM2 Paredes provides administrative support to the Fleet Surgeon and staff, maintains references and files pertaining to medical exercises/operations within 7th Fleet, and monitors and reports the Individual Medical Readiness for all units assigned to 7th Fleet. "I never thought I'd be a Corpsman when I was growing up, but am so thankful to be where I am. I joined the Navy to help people and I have done that and more. I also love to teach life saving skills to Sailors. Being able to treat a patient and passing my knowledge on tactical combat casualty care to Sailors is my way of building a ready and capable warfighting fleet," said Paredes. Thank you HM2 Paredes for taking an oath to support and defend the American way of life and being part of our Warfighting Navy!
