Caring for communities impacted by terrorism, military conflict or mass violence.
About us
Tuesday’s Children provides a lifetime of healing for those whose lives have been torn apart by terrorism or traumatic loss. Our work begins when the emergency response ends - when the true, life-altering impact of the violence sets in. And we remain long after other aid organizations and the media have gone. This is our promise to those we serve. Our proven, long-term approach to helping family members and communities recover was forged in the aftermath of Tuesday, 9/11. Our programs enable our service population to, over time, heal, recover, and, ultimately, thrive, as we are doing with 9/11 families, 9/11 first responders, military families of the fallen, and the Newtown, Connecticut community.

Thanks to our friends at State Farm Tuesday's Children Military Families of the Fallen had a great time, filled with community and learning at Topgolf in Waco, TX. This Family Engagement event hosted 25 people and included friendly games, dinner, and a presentation from State Farm. One parent said her favorite part was that the kids had a blast, and added "It was great to be around people who understand and have been through similar experiences and to play games with people from different families."

Program team members, Abigail and Victoria, had the opportunity to attend The 27th National Symposium on Children’s Grief! They left the symposium feeling inspired and motivated to bring new ideas and insights to their work. Special thanks to National Alliance for Children's Grief (NACG) and New York Life Foundation for putting together such a well-structured and informative event. The sessions were enlightening, and the networking opportunities were invaluable. #NACGsymposium #childrengrieve #NYLFoundation
