    Tuckernuck going live with Corso is such a full-circle moment for me. As I've mentioned recently, I come from the fashion world. Tuckernuck was always a brand that set the standard. (I'd be lying if I wasn't always curious to see what they were wearing to markets and of course what brands they were carrying.) When Emily Grayson signed up for demo I reacted as if Taylor Swift herself signed up for a demo and luckily, our killer sales team was able to close the deal. And now I'm thrilled to get to work with their team every day! Spoiler: they are still setting the standard, continuing to be on top of every detail while also being incredibly kind and fun to chat with.     An old song calls Christmas the most wonderful time of the year, but I also love late Spring in Washington, when there's a crush of events. I enjoyed hearing from a power panel at the recent 100 Women In Finance event and was further inspired by last week's discussion led by creative women entrepreneurs at SCOUT Bags. Some of the great advice from the founders of insanely successful companies like Georgetown Cupcake, Tuckernuck and SCOUT Bags. 1. Fundamentally, entrepreneurs have the spark necessary to take risks and act on them. Their philosophy is if you don't do it now, you'll always regret it. 2. Make it your routine to look at each day and ask what it will take to be successful. And, always ask what pieces of the business are moving you forward and which ones are lagging. 3. Be an observer of your world. Give yourself the opportunity to see through different lenses. 4. Since being an entrepreneur can be, at times, lonely and isolating, prioritize making connections. The more we connect, the more we think differently. 5. Exercise daily. Make it a non-negotiable. 6. If you have children, don't hesitate to take them along for the ride and give them exposure to your life as a businesswoman.
