Thyme Care is a value-based oncology management platform whose mission is to improve the quality of life for people diagnosed with cancer by providing personalized, clinically coordinated care. Thyme Care pairs human guidance with software and analytics to quickly connect members to the right care and provide ongoing support through targeted, evidence-based interventions. Founded by oncology industry veterans and clinicians, the company's approach prioritizes deep provider relationships and integrates with a health plan’s existing infrastructure, coordinating value-driven care that leads to better outcomes, lower costs, and an improved member experience. Backed with venture funding from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), AlleyCorp, Frist Cressey Ventures, Casdin Capital, and Bessemer, Thyme Care partners with health insurance plans and providers to extend the reach of high-quality cancer care through flexible value-based payment arrangements, including risk-based programs. Thyme Care was featured in a recent Healthcare Innovation article discussing our latest funding round and what it means for value-based cancer care. "Thyme Care describes its business model as challenging the traditional fee-for-service landscape by empowering oncologists as agents of change within novel payment models, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality care in the clinic, while Thyme Care's oncology-trained Care Team manages patients' needs between visits. Through its payer agreements, the company embeds its patient-centered care resources directly within oncology practices, including 24/7 navigation services, operational and actuarial support, and reporting capabilities to accurately measure impact in these new models." With the recent funding from our new investor Concord Health Partners and other existing investors, we are excited to expand our innovative care model to more cancer patients and caregivers.
