Turning blueprints into bustling warehouses! Work is well underway at 153 Linden Street in Passaic, New Jersey where Thor is making improvements to both the existing site and buildings to transform the 250,000 square foot facility for modern day industry, as well as adding loading docks, parking stalls, and more! Team Thor is pleased to share it has brought rail access to its newly renovated industrial asset: 14-22 River Road in Northern New Jersey! Thor worked closely with the New York, Susquehanna & Western Railway Corp. to restore rail access for newly signed tenant, F&T Trucking, and organized the ability to add rail to support additional users from 98,000 square feet up to 152,000 square feet. Properties with rail access are invaluable in today’s market as they allow users to not only ship goods more cost effectively, but can: 1. Accommodate greater quantities compared to trucks. 2. Allow users to evade supply chain bottlenecks. 3. Reduce the carbon footprints of companies as rail transport is one of the most eco-friendly modes of transportation. https://lnkd.in/datSCnmd
