I love helping clients scale their talent and strengthen their teams. Ask me how our team can help yours!

Question of the day: where are all the fun, analytical folks hiding out these days⁉️ The Sandbox is on the hunt for a couple of skilled accountants who love a balance sheet, look forward to month-end closes and enjoy working with smart- and funny 🙋🏻♀️- humans. (Oh, and you should also like karoake and trivia nights. 🎤🧠) Sound like you or someone you know— shoot me a DM and let’s grab coffee.

#LGBTQ+ #founders face significant inequities across the startup ecosystem, including in access to funding. Despite this, LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs have made profound strides through their ventures, creating more jobs, exits, and patents than their peers.🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ For those of us in the evolving healthcare space, funding is a critical ingredient that facilitates our work to advance #healthequity and democratize care for historically marginalized communities.💸🩺 Consider this not just during #PrideMonth, but all year long as our work doesn't stop on July 1st when the rainbow flags come down.💪👨💻🗓️ Halcyon StartOut equalityMD Rock Health StartUp Health The Cedars-Sinai Accelerator ScaleHealth Summit #healthcare #digitalhealth #telehealth #data #insights

Happy Juneteenth! In the spirit of Juneteenth, Sandbox is embracing the philosophy of "a day on, not a day off." This means that rather than taking the day as a holiday, we are encouraging our employees to actively engage in activities that support our community and advance the principles of equality and justice. Here are some suggestions we shared with our team: ➡ Volunteer at a Juneteenth Event: A few members of the Sandbox team will be supporting the The Gloucester Institute's Juneteenth celebration. ➡ Support Local Black-Owned Businesses: Take the time to support Black-owned businesses in your area. Whether it's dining at a local restaurant, shopping at a boutique, or using services provided by Black entrepreneurs, your support can make a significant difference.  See here for a list of Richmond Black restaurants: https://rbre365.com/. ➡ Educational Activities: Use this day to educate yourself and others about the history and significance of Juneteenth. Attend virtual seminars, read books, or watch documentaries that delve into African American history and the ongoing fight for civil rights.  Here is a great reading list: https://lnkd.in/g2zs285A Here is a good podcast list: https://lnkd.in/eD9qhmYm ➡ Community Engagement: Participate in community events such as parades, festivals, and public discussions that celebrate Juneteenth and promote racial equality. Engaging with the community in these ways helps to build solidarity and awareness.  Here is a list of things to do in RVA: https://lnkd.in/ekmsq44T Take special note of the Black History Museum's exhibit Virginia is for Music Lovers: A History of Virginia’s Black Excellence in Music! https://lnkd.in/e7TMxTTk ➡ Personal Reflection and Action: Reflect on ways you can contribute to advancing racial equity in your daily life and in our workplace. Consider mentoring, joining diversity and inclusion groups, or advocating for policies that promote equality. By taking these actions, we can collectively honor the legacy of Juneteenth and contribute to the ongoing pursuit of justice and equality. We will ask that folks share their experiences and reflections at our 6/25 Tuesday standup so please be prepared to report out.

    Founder & CEO, Luminarity AI

🌟 Exciting News! 🌟 I'm thrilled to announce the launch of LuminarityAI ✨💻✨ where we're leveraging the power of AI to (finally) make political research affordable and accessible to campaigns and organizations of any size. Our goal is take care of the tedious tasks, so you can focus on what’s crucial - winning. I am excited to be leading this effort as the CEO with the best team I could imagine, including: Teisha Garrett, Allen Nesbitt, Cristina Parrinello and Jessie Baron. Why we are doing this: Tl;dr - because we believe that political research is overdue for some radical innovation. But the story is a little longer than that. My fourth(ish) political job (2004) was as a research director on a federal campaign. It’s where I built my first relational database (Microsoft Access anyone?), because there was no way I could research and manage a 14-year state legislative voting record without it. It took me and 4 interns and 2.5 months to build that database - and when we won our primary by ~400 votes - the research points that database produced were CRUCIAL. That’s where I first learned how to leverage technology to manage large datasets and I continued to do so as I went through my political career. Fast-forward - I have spent the better part of the last 10 years working with organizations to optimize their data infrastructure and use technology to do their work more efficiently and effectively. With the explosion of generative AI tools, it was clear - to me and my partners - that political research could benefit tremendously from what AI had to offer. We’re building a platform to fill those needs. We’re starting with the most critical tasks and going from there. Please sign-up to receive updates and be the first to help us test our platform!  luminarityai.com #DoHardThings #GenerativeAI #OppoResearch
