Our CMO Jenny Lewis took the stage with The Female Quotient at #CannesLions2024 on Wednesday to discuss creativity, bold risks and the power of diverse storytelling. Here's one of our favorite quotes from Jenny, reflecting on how the team dreamed up The Knot's rebrand in her first three months on the job: "We were very much a heritage brand born out of the millennial wedding era and there was a risk that we could get swept out with the millennial tide [...] We needed a visual identity shift for our master brand to break through in the wedding category, where there can be a lot of sea of sameness. We wanted to feel brighter, more celebratory, more bold. We ended up launching the rebrand and we did a test in our product [...] Within one week, it was improving every major metric across the board and we've sustained this performance.
