Happy National Disability Independence Day, as we commemorate the signing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on July 26, 1990. The ADA is a landmark civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life. While we celebrate the progress made possible by the ADA, our work is far from over. We must persist in dismantling barriers and champion accessibility and equality for all. #adaanniversary #disabilityrights #inclusion #accessibility

We are deeply touched that the Kuyahoora Valley Foundation chose The Arc and Progress Industries as beneficiaries of today's Jeffrey Nicholson Kick-Off Classic Golf Tournament, along with a generous $3,000 donation. This is a bittersweet moment for us, as Jeff was a dedicated employee of The Arc from 2001 until his unexpected passing in 2012. We are incredibly grateful to his wife, Sandy, his daughter, Kirsten, the Nicholson family, and the Foundation for this thoughtful gesture. We remember Jeff today and always. Please visit https://lnkd.in/eMRgTaxC to learn more about the amazing support they provide to our community and how you can support them. #grateful #gratitude #community #donations

🎽 The Boilermaker Road Race estimates that between 15 and 20,000 goodie bags will be given out to race participants over the next three days. There's a good chance the hard-working students and staff in our CollegeWorks program assembled yours. We're proud of the work the Utica and Rome programs did today in volunteering. #community #volunteers #teamwork
