Fellows from our Leadership Institute program presented their Capstone Project on what it means to “Lead from Any Chair” to a room of over 150 of our administrative staff members. In addition, we celebrated their graduation from this ten-month program as each of their mentors shared kind words about their success and growth. Please congratulate the eleven graduates who represent different departments of our organization.

We welcomed a group of hard-working volunteers from Northrop Grumman, led by Board Member Chris Schantz, for our Spring Spruce Up event. Their team transformed Wilbur and Doug's backyard into a go-to cookout spot. They removed weeds, sticks, and brush and then power-washed, planted, and mulched! What a transformation! Thank you, Northrop Grumman, for encouraging your employees to give back to their community.

After a year of living with family, Paris is officially a proud apartment owner (thanks to Housing Support Services) He's the first person The Arc Baltimore helped secure the DDA/DHCD Rent Subsidy, making a spacious Parkville apartment affordable. There's still more work to be done to make this apartment a home, but with ongoing support, Paris will continue to thrive! A big thank you to Maryland Inclusive Housing and Maryland Developmental Disabilities Council for their help in making this possible!
