Standard® Tech Tip! When replacing a turbocharger, here are three things to remember: 1. Air ductwork must be sealed and perfectly clean. 2. Ensure that there is proper lubrication and cooling at the turbo. Bleed fresh engine oil through the new turbo before starting the engine. 3. Install a new air filter along with an oil change, and replace all applicable breathers.

In June, we were proud to participate in Waukesha, Wisconsin’s 4th Annual Golf Outing to benefit Tunnels 2 Towers. This was our second year both donating to the charity and participating in the actual golf event. What began as a day of golf between friends to celebrate and honor Father’s Day and the men in their lives who had the greatest impact has turned into a full-day charity event with over ninety participants. The partnership with Tunnels 2 Towers, an organization that supports the families of fallen first responders, truly shows how important giving back is to the event itself.    SMP is always excited to have our employees get together and enjoy a beautiful day outdoors especially when it’s in the name of a great cause. Thank you to all who golfed and donated. These efforts make such an important impact in our communities!
