Our office is recruiting attorneys, investigators, and paralegals in our Violent Crimes Case Reduction Unit. The Violent Crimes Case Reduction Unit (VCCRU) works with our criminal division's general and special prosecution section to combat the backlog of violent crimes in circuits around the state. Attorneys will focus on moving violent crimes in a specific circuit, heavily emphasizing trial work. Attorneys, Investigators, and Paralegals interested in this position should be comfortable preparing murders, sexual assaults, and other violent crimes for trial in a condensed time frame. The 2024 Fall Law Clerk Program applications are now open until 5 p.m. on June 30th. To be enrolled in the law clerk program, students must be enrolled in an accredited law school. Law Clerks will be able to gain hands-on knowledge of the Office while conducting research, providing administrative support, and attending court hearings, depositions, or trials as schedules permit.
