On Friday, athletes from around the world will be going for the gold in the 2024 Olympic Games. So we thought it would be a good idea to host our own version right here on Riverside Drive. We navigated the Snapshot Steeplechase, threw pool noodle javelins, and contorted our facial muscles for the grand prize: bragging rights. While The Lavender Legendz, Shrek + Fiona, and Blooz Clooz ultimately reigned supreme, we all gained something much greater than trophies and medals during the games: an opportunity to unwind, bond, and remember that ultimate success comes from working together. We’re already preparing for next year, people are doing burpees on lunch break and still launching pool noodles at targets.
