To that end, we're unveiling a brand new Subscription Table in the admin portal. Finding data and making updates to existing customers or their orders has never been easier. It's faster, more responsive, and easier to navigate. Here's exactly how this update will make your life better. #1 It's faster. The table now loads and updates more than 50% faster than before. Reduce your wait time and search, sort, and filter the subscription table quickly. #2 It has responsive search.  You can start searching for a name, or order number, and the table will respond instantly to what you are looking for. Now you can find specific orders in seconds to make edits or updates. #3 It has more filtering capabilities. You can now filter the table by items, status, dates, subscription program, etc. This means you can sort data easily and find what you're looking for.

    Smartrr Product Updates ⚡ We're back with four new features designed to streamline your subscription management and minimize the impact of out-of-stock situations! These updates give you more control and visibility, helping you retain customers and optimize your workflows. Here are 4 new features to make subscription management easier for you: 1. Auto-Resume When Back in Stock When a subscription is paused due to an out-of-stock item, Smartrr will now automatically resume the subscription as soon as the item becomes available. This helps minimize any customer churn that may occur due to temporary out-of-stock periods. 2. 'Order Now' Ability for Admin As an admin, you have the ability to override subscription dates and billing in order to process the order on the current date. This allows you to manage orders based on your inventory and minimize the need for support tickets. 3. Missing & Deleted Product Notifications When you delete or archive a product, Smartrr automatically emails you details for affected subscription programs linked to their respective Shopify admin page. Never inadvertently disrupt subscription programs from product updates. 4. Admin Details in Event Logs When an admin updates a customer's subscription, the admin's name and email will be displayed in the subscription event log entries. This creates clear audit trails for easy subscription management.

    “Wait, am I about to get sued by the FTC?” 👩⚖️ ^Every company that sells subscriptions after seeing Adobe getting sued (probably). 😬 The legal landscape for subscription businesses is always shifting. Adobe's FTC lawsuit and California's proposed regulations are definitely opening up more conversations. And while no two companies are the same and lots of gray area still exists in the law, here’s a few things to get caught up on and keep in mind. So what exactly is being considered by #California and the #FTC? 🔎 Affirmative consent and record keeping. Businesses may not only be required to obtain affirmative consent, but will also have to maintain that verification. 🔎 Retention tactic restrictions. Offering 20% to a customer to not cancel a subscription? Brands may actually have to acquire consent from a customer before making this offer. If consent is not given, a customer’s subscription must be automatically canceled. 🔎 More crackdowns on ‘Dark Patterns’ and misrepresentations. Pretty much, anything that detracts from a customer’s ability to give willing, affirmative consent could run into trouble. While these considerations should help clarify existing laws, lots of gray areas will likely persist... The good ( 😁 ) news is, regardless of what type of subscription you sell, there are a few best practices you can embrace that will keep you ahead of the curve (and your customers happy). 🎯 Give shoppers clear and transparent pricing terms. Be upfront about all costs, fees, and terms from the start. No more burying important information in fine print. 🎯 Offer a seamless cancellation process that is easy to find. Customers should be able to cancel subscriptions without unnecessary hurdles or delays. 🎯 Send clear communications on all upcoming orders and any changes to billing. Obtaining explicit consent from customers regarding terms, fees, and renewals is vital. Regular reminders and notifications are also key Remember, being proactive now can save you headaches (and potential lawsuits) later. Let's raise the bar for the subscription industry together!
