In 2023, we were able to provide food to over 600,000 individuals through our community center. So far this year, the number of people seeking assistance remains steady. “Over the past year, I've had the incredible opportunity to work as a digital media intern for The Salvation Army. This role has allowed me to dive deep into the world of digital marketing and content creation while contributing to a cause I deeply care about. Children at the Ridgewood Corps Childcare Center just graduated and will be moving on up to kindergarten! One of our amazing prek teachers, Indhira, had this to say about the emotions experienced for the teachers and staff during graduation time: "These babies started their educational journey with The Salvation Army and we have prepared them to take on whatever obstacle comes their way, as they leave us for kindergarten. They had so many firsts with us and grew so much in the two years they spent in our care. I’m teary-eyed and overwhelmed with emotions as we're ready to say our goodbyes. 20 years with The Salvation Army and I still get emotional with every group that comes through.
