Prudence’s courage and advocacy inspired countless individuals to live openly, seek treatment, and defy the stigma associated with HIV. On what would have been her birthday, we celebrate her legacy and unwavering dedication to eradicating HIV stigma. Let’s continue her mission of promoting acceptance and understanding. #ZEROHIVSTIGMADA

On July 11th, SAGE’s Terri Wilder spoke at the “Sex after 50: What Older Adults Need to Know about HIV” webinar hosted by the PAN Foundation and CVS Specialty. Advocates, let’s call for the CDC to remove the upper age limit of HIV testing guidelines, push Congress to #SaveHIVFunding, and spread awareness about upcoming changes to PrEP services covered under Medicare. Many older people don’t think that they’re vulnerable to HIV, and many providers aren’t telling them otherwise. HIV testing should be a routine part of healthcare for all adults — regardless of age. People over 64 are being diagnosed, with advanced disease, and some have died. This doesn’t have to happen. We can create change together. Learn More🎥: Sex after 50: https://loom.ly/0PPkv8c
