Our leaders lead by example... Gratitude post to our Rocket Money team members - including CEO Haroon Mokhtarzada - who were recently onsite in Detroit and participated in a volunteer event with Arts & Scraps. Over 68 Rocket Money team members volunteered! We appreciate you and your team, Haroon!
Rocket Community Fund
Philanthropic Fundraising Services
aiming to simplify complex and inequitable systems to ensure that every American has access to stable, healthy housing.
About us
In 2010, Quicken Loans (now Rocket Mortgage) moved its headquarters and 3,600 team members from suburban Detroit to the heart of downtown. Since then, Rocket Companies has grown to include more than 25,000 team members in downtown Detroit, as well as offices in Cleveland, Charlotte, and Phoenix. As our numbers have grown, so has our commitment to doing well by doing good. The Rocket Community Fund was created to harness the incredible power of our organization and find innovative ways to make an impact in each of our home communities. Through our investments, we believe we can create value not only for our business but for everyone. Our mission is to simplify complex and inequitable systems to ensure that every American has access to stable, healthy housing.

We're on a mission to help everyone home! In late 2022 we partnered with Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) to launch the Rocket Wealth Accelerator, to help residents in #Detroit #Cleveland #Milwaukee and #Atlanta with the resources they need to build a stable financial future. Our goal is to help Americans build generational wealth - especially those who have been historically disenfranchised due to systemic racism. We're looking forward to seeing the impact that the Rocket Wealth Accelerator Program has had on current participants, and we're excited for how this initiative will evolve. Our team members are passionate about supporting our most vulnerable residents. Thanks to our Rocket Companies volunteers who stepped up to make an impact with MCHS Family of Services, a nonprofit that provides support to children and families in Southeast Michigan. Your volunteering efforts helped make the space beautiful for the families that MCHS supports.

"My favorite experience would probably be with NW Goldberg Cares as they are directly impacting their community in very visible ways." --Ryan Thomas, Rocket Mortgage team member and passionate volunteer Thank you to Ryan and his teammates for volunteering at one of our favorite Detroit neighborhood-focused nonprofits, NW Goldberg Cares. We are proud to partner with the organization and with dedicated team members who care so deeply about our community! @

Our #AI Explained event with Black Tech Saturdays was the preview to a partnership focused on building opportunity to access for Detroiters. Because one of the best ways to help bridge the #digitaldivide is by connecting the power of our Detroit talent with cutting-edge technology like AI - and the skills to use it. Thank you to Johnnie Turnage and Alexa Turnage for your vision and leadership, and to Autumn Evans for your continued dedication to creating digital access for all! Another unique volunteer experience in the books! Thank you to our #Detroit Rocket Mortgage team members for #volunteering with The Parade Company! As one of our rockstar volunteers Kim Lehman (pictured far left, first row) said, this was "a cool opportunity and a labor of love deconstructing old floats, helping recycle used materials and painting items for new floats! There was cool historical stuff buried in the back corners of this magical place." We love supporting organizations like these, and finding creative opportunities for our team members to make an impact!

Last week, we celebrated the one-year anniversary of the opening of Human-I-T on 7 Mile! This brick-and-mortar retail store is the first of its kind in the nation, providing discounted or free digital devices, access to high-speed internet, onsite technical support and more. So far, Human I-T on 7 Mile has served 8,000 Detroiters! Human I-T shares our vision for a more digitally included world, and it was an honor to partner with them and support the opening of this landmark store. We look forward to celebrating more milestones together! Learn More: https://bit.ly/4crxv7w Thank you Jennifer Jambor, MBA, Laura Grannemann and Autumn Evans!)
