The 2023 season will be one we’ll never forget. Rain and flooding dominated the narrative of the summer and changed the landscape we help steward, but swift community action brought those trails back online and helped us reach our goals to open the Driving Range and make upgrades at Chamberlain Hill. Community response, in both funding and volunteering for our projects, has been outstanding, and we’re pleased to outline some of what we’ve accomplished together in this annual report. We are fundraising to finish the last two trails of The Driving Range Network. While The Driving Range is open for riding, it's not quite done. This new network, constructed beginning in 2022 in Bolton, is one of the first of its kind - a grassroots-built fully adaptive network. With 3.5 miles already constructed, the final two professionally built trails will complete the network and add over a mile of new terrain. https://gofund.me/4aec8585 A special thank you to the following organizations for their support of the 2023 season. State of Vermont, Burlington Beer Company, Bivo, Price Chopper Supermarkets-Market 32, Yeti Cycles, Birdseye Building Company, The Royal Group & Pro-Tech Security and Fire, Union Bank of VT & NH, Ben & Jerry's, The Vermont Community Foundation, onXmaps, Inc., Lawson's Finest Liquids, Zero Gravity Craft Brewery, Fox Factory, Velocio, Vermont Mountain Bike Association and Kelly Brush Foundation

Thank you to Santa Cruz Paydirt which selected Richmond Mountain Trails as a partner and provided funding for our latest trail project, The Driving Range!
PayDirt - Paying It (Even Further) Forward . PayDirt is our commitment to increasing access to trails by supporting the work of the people who make it happen. As a start, we pledged $1 million over three years towards trail projects, organizations, events, and programs. Through matching grants and fundraisers we managed to turn that $1 million dollars into $3 million dollars of collective funding. There's now more than a dozen brands who contribute to PayDirt and the impact is global. We promise to pay it even further forward to improve access to riding bicycles now and in the future... and we welcome anyone and everyone to join us for the ride. Whether volunteering for projects or contributing to the program, PayDirt has opportunities to get involved for people and businesses alike. Find out more here: https://www.paydirt.earth/

The Kelly Brush Foundation is empowering people with spinal cord injuries to rediscover their independence through adaptive sports. Over the course of the next few weeks, you’ll meet three incredible people we’re proud to support, who in turn are making a difference in their communities and for themselves. First up: Matt! Get to know Matt for a taste of how how your donation before the end of 2023 makes an impact and how it can support our critical work. My favorite ride in the Richmond Mountain Trail network is up the Preston Loop and into A-Day because it’s technical, hard, fun and keeps me on my toes. I’m so grateful for the amazing network in our backyard and am very proud to be able to donate to RMT. Read our blog to learn more about the work they do!
The sun is out here in Vermont! And the town of Richmond is bustling with mountain bikers, gravel riders, trail runners and walkers enjoying the 40+ miles of single track trails out our front door. This year, we allocated a portion of our Bivo Fund to go to the Richmond Mountain Trails. They coordinate with local land owners and volunteers to maintain and build new trails. Read our blog to learn more about the awesome work RMT does. https://lnkd.in/eecFGauc
