Team members from a variety of departments at our Yuma, AZ, store came together last month to volunteer at the Yuma Community Food Bank (YCFB). "We packed almost 1,400 meal kits in three hours, which is just a small drop in the bucket of the 20,000 individuals the YCFB serves each month," Laura M., Event Manager said. We're proud to see our team members find ways to get involved and give back the our communities. 🍴

Serving the needs of growers and farmers today means helping to shape the agriculture landscape of tomorrow. Lindsey V., Service Manager at the RDO store in Pasco, WA, recently hosted a store tour for members of the Pasco School District who are seeking input and guidance while creating an agriculture program for their new high school. In addition to learning more about our Access Your Future (AYF) program, the group explored the shop, taking a look at the unique projects our service technicians are working on. "Lindsey did an excellent job representing what RDO does and how we are currently investing into our youth through the AYF program," Kaitlin C., Regional Aftermarket Manager said.

RDO's start as a dealer of yellow John Deere iron marked a significant milestone for the business, and it happened more than 35 years ago in Bismarck, ND. Now, the store is celebrating over 100 collective years of experience among three team members. "I am so proud to have worked alongside my fantastic team as I learned something new from them every day. As the industry changed, I was committed to making sure that new team members felt at home within the store," Duane H., Yard Coordinator, said as he reflected on 45 years prior to his retirement. You’re at a Formula 1 race track. One that is home to the Miami Grand Prix. You’re ready to start you’re engine, but you aren’t a driver. You’re part of the Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC team, a key player in the resurfacing project of the Miami International Autodrome. In partnership with RDO Equipment Co. and WIRTGEN GROUP, they were able to mill 2 inches of the existing 3.36-mile track and repave it with a highly specialized asphalt blend designed to Formula 1 standards. With fresh asphalt, it was smooth sailing (or should we say, smooth driving) for the 2023 Miami Grand Prix.

We're proud to recognize McKenna as one of our newest Access Your Future (AYF) interns. She will be attending the University of Northwestern Ohio this fall and pursuing a diesel degree. Only 3.4% of heavy equipment technicians are women. A small percentage, but a growing number, and we look forward to seeing the ways McKenna grows and succeeds as she transitions from an RDO high school intern to the AYF program! ⭐
