Apparel printing has been a major subject of conversation for in-plant directors in recent years. Deer Valley Unified School District Print Services in Phoenix, Arizona, is one that has capitalized on this opportunity. Apparel printing has added a massive revenue stream to the in-plant – work that was previously all going outside the organization. “We will have another record year in revenue; Apparel has helped us reach this goal. I have just been informed of three K-12 in-plants closing down in July in the Phoenix area; you must be an asset and not a liability to your school district." says Martin James, manager of Printing Services. I had the privilege to attend #thINKahead this week and I came away with a new understanding of Canon Solutions America's offerings, a feeling of the excitement among its customers, and insights into some of the hottest topics and issues relevant to the #PrintingIndustry today. Ashley Roberts and Mark Michelson are making a splash at thINK in Boca Raton, Florida. The amazing speakers have covered everything from AI to sales strategy. It has been a treasure trove of information! In todays world, commercial printers are juggling a lot - it is in events like these where you can let loose and learn how to better equip you company! What are some of your highlights from thINK so far?

Printing Impressions is at the 10th #thINKahead event. According to Eric Hawkinson, there have been more than 6,000 people in attendance over the past 10 years; more than 175 in-person sessions; 23,071 individual connections; and 20,000 hours of networking.
