The results are in! 🎉 2023 was officially the year for #CenteringConnection and fostering community. At Girls Who Code, we know we’re not just working to close the gender gap in one of the most powerful industries in the world. We’re also preparing our students for the jobs of tomorrow and teaching them to be nimble in the face of constant change. All while empowering our students and fostering lifelong friendships. We’re super excited to release our Annual Report, highlighting the real impact of our work to build the largest pipeline of women and nonbinary computer scientists worldwide. From rocking out to #GirlJams to inducting our first alumni council and even hosting Code Fair, our first in-person event of this magnitude一 this year has been one of bravery. Girls Who Code has now served 670,000 girls, young women, and non-binary students, keeping us on track for our goal to reach 1 million students over the next ten years. Not to mention, our alumni are earning computer science degrees at 7x the national average! Of course, this wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of our staff, our Board, our community and, most importantly, our students. By empowering our community with the skills and opportunities they need to succeed, we are shaping a brighter future for hundreds of thousands of young people, as well as a better world for us all. Let us continue to inspire, educate, and uplift the next generation of leaders, in tech and beyond. https://lnkd.in/e_WTZHzX
