It's official! We proudly announce the Teacher Apprenticeship Program in collaboration with St. Petersburg College. We have nearly 30 apprentices kicking off this two-year program. These individuals will obtain a bachelor’s degree in Exceptional Student Education or Primary Pre-K Education with Reading/ESOL endorsements - tuition-free! They signed their contracts this week and will begin the program in the fall. #PCSProud

The Tampa Bay Rays honored our Teacher of the Year, Gerard Madrinan, this weekend ⚾ They had him throw the ceremonial first pitch and provided him with a suite to watch the game filled with family and friends. Gerard is a music teacher and band director at Seminole High School. #PCSProud

This week's Bay News 9 A+ teacher is Dorene McNulty of Osceola Middle School. She has been with the school for more than 20 years and spent 12 years as a reading teacher. A few years ago, she switched roles and now helps students with special needs create plans for the future.
