About us
The Penguin Publishing Group is one of the leading trade book publishers in the United States, comprised of imprints with a long and rich history dating back to the nineteenth century. Penguin Books was originally founded in the UK in 1935 by Allen Lane, who envisioned a collection of quality, attractive books affordable enough to be “bought as easily and casually as a packet of cigarettes.” A United States office opened in 1939, called Penguin Books Ltd. The group merged with Putnam Berkley to become Penguin Putnam, Inc. in 1996, Penguin Group (USA) in 2003, and Penguin Publishing Group in 2014. Today, Penguin Publishing Group is the largest division of Penguin Random House, Inc.

We love learning about all the different industries that are using Will Guidara's Unreasonable Hospitality to improve the experiences of their customers, clients, employees, and more!
UNREASONABLE HOSPITALITY - RIDIDULOUSLY GOOD!!! I just finished listening to Unreasonable Hospitality by Will Guidara and I don't even know how to focus on all the good lessons and tips he provides in this book. The best thing I can do is listen to it over and over and over, it's a great audio book! This man inspires me to make the Healthcare and Longterm Care Experience better for our customers. I would HIGHLY recommend this book for anyone who care about Hospitality and the Customer experience. Love you sharing with us Will Guidara, HUGE FAN!!! He's not in our space or market but he's definitely in our CULTURE. He's a personal inspiration. We would all do well to learn from his process. Attention you, my friend! Keep inspiring!! #unreasonablyhospitality #givingmore #foundationshealthsolutions #cultureofcare #makingadiffernence #cultureofcare #makeitnice

We are big fans of the Penguin!
You might have noticed our page looks a little different. That's because last week we unveiled our new global corporate logo, which combines the Penguin Random House wordmark with the Penguin logo. While our corporate logo is evolving, our name is not changing. We are Penguin Random House! As the Penguin logo nears 90 years of literary renown, there's no better time to dive into its history. It all starts in 1935, with a 21-year-old visiting a London Zoo (read more here!). And tell us your memories of the Penguin logo in the comments! We'd love to know how the Penguin is part of your story.

I appreciate the positive and constructive messages Scott provides and this video clip is worth 6 minutes of your time. He provides inspirational insight on managing life in a technical social-media driven world. This particular segment is on wealth but he also covers the challenges for young people trying to socialize in today's society.
Great to be on the Today Show this morning. Thanks for having me.

Professor of Psychology at New York University, author of Jerks at Work and the upcoming Job Therapy (Penguin Random House), and expert in interpersonal communication.
I'm so excited to share this NPR LifeKit interview, featuring one of the people I interviewed for this book Tricia Baker. Tricia had a career journey that I think many of us can relate to: She followed a sure-bet path, ended up as a school psychologist, and spent years wishing she had followed her dream to become a therapist. She went back to school and fulfilled her dream, but it wasn't easy; she had two young kids, a full-time employed husband, and a commute to her master's program. The way she talks about how she processed her emotions around her career--including her fears--is inspiring. Tricia shows up in a few places in Job Therapy, and I talked her into doing clips for this show! https://lnkd.in/eFrbpFnn
